Trevor enters the scene. Unfortunately, it seems as though he's had no better luck in the first round of the tournament than Alexis did.

You didn't answer my question from yesterday.

@Guest: I also didn't see it until today. My Sundays are pretty busy, so now is the first time I've had to check. But yes, Jeniffer is the same person as Jeremy. Jeremy does have a sister, but her sister is just a kid. Alexis hasn't been a classmate of Jeremy for a while, but even if he did, she wouldn't know if Jeniffer was Jeremy's cousin or something similar. "Related" doesn't always mean brother/sister/ etc. Also, there wasn't anything that said Jeremy attacked Alexis, just that he was a bully. Jeremy, due to his mother and the way she treated him for being trans, was mean, but he didn't beat people up. He was just mean and acted like a bully.

@EmilyAnnCoons:

Mmmmmmm, seems I had the wrong fuckwad. Jordan Lambert attempted to murder Alexis. He was expelled from school. But what did the police and the court do with him?

I don't know who Jeremy is. Who is he or she? Links?

@Guest: The only instance of Jeremy we've seen in this comic is on Chapter 4 Page 20. If you want to see more of Jeremy/Jeniffer's origins, however, you'll have to read The Changing Stone.

What about prison time for Jordan? Did he get tried as an adult or juvie?

@Guest: That is a pretty good question. I'm not really sure. I didn't really think about it. Jordan was a major negative influence for Alexis, but it was also a one-time encounter. She really only remembers the abuse and near murder and has put just about anything else about him out of her mind. She does try to also put that out of her mind, but it was pretty traumatic. She was literally a couple seconds away from being killed.

I would think that, for attempted murder, regardless of if he was tried as adult or juvie, it'd still be a major punishment, though.

Shit, girl, you're the story maker. I'm sure you'll work it out. Get back to us when you get there.

Considering the intent, the malignancy and intense hatred of the crime, he should get tried as an adult. I can hope but even IRL things don't always go well. Sure, this is fiction but it's not fantasy. It's made up but should have a semblance of the real world. But the path is up to you.

Also, yeah, you're right about the impact on Alexis. Being a young teen and some asshole comes at you for murder, only a second away from the boom being lowered before intervention. Fucking huge for a kid. Of course she wants to avoid thinking about it. Put it behind her. But that shit doesn't go away. It never leaves a person.
