Poor Alexis gets curb stomped immediately by her opponent. Seems that even the power of friendship or the heart of the cards wasn't enough to win this fight.

It's about time Alexis took some martial arts classes. So she can learn how to deal with toads like Jeremy.

Gasp! Could it be...?

@Guest: If what I think happened is true, then I don't believe Alexis will see Jeremy ever again.

That's a very big leap to such a conclusion with nothing to go on. He could just happen to have a sister. And Alexis just sat across from her with no recognition whatsoever. Likely she'd recognise the little toad even as a female version.

Also, to note, even if that's Jeremy, we can't just assume being trans. Could be he just discovered the thrill of cross dressing. A young male who just found a new paraphilia.

@Guest: While I do love this fun theory crafting that's going on here... I feel like I should mention that Jeremy and Brandon (seen on page 4-20) were cameos of Ren and I's old comic known as "The Changing Stone". As Jeremy and Brandon met Emily and went to the mall the first day that she was at the school, then Jeremy was magically transformed into a girl that same day known as Jeniffer, it's safe to assume that the date between Alexis and Allea occurs the same day as that event (albeit, with a bit of reworking, as the date occurred on a Saturday, but I also had plans to rewrite CS and apply that as a change in it).

All-in-all, this comic takes place "in that universe", even though Changing Stone is no longer even relevant (more on that when this chapter is over). As the Jeremy we're referencing here is the one from CS, therefore Jeniffer is also the same one from CS (also note that I always end up misspelling "Jennifer" as "Jeniffer", so that misspelling is essentially now her canonical name). So yeah, Jeniffer was Jeremy, but is now Jeniffer. The Changing Stone did a complete and total redesign of Jeremy to the exact thoughts and vision Jeremy had of himself as a girl. The two look absolutely nothing alike nor sound anything alike. Of course, if you're concerned now that a slice-of-life/reality comic is suddenly going to gain fantasy elements to it, you have nothing to worry about. The fantasy elements in CS were always going to take place off Earth. So there's no chance that Alexis will deal with Jeniffer, the Changing Stone, or any of that sort. (Plus, again, CS is now obsolete, so any plans to cross the comics is also obsolete.)

Fun fact: In writing this chapter, I called her Jeniffer Seaborn, which is where this whole conversation came into play. However, if you read Changing Stone, you discover that, to hide her identity, Jeniffer actually has the last name "Callahan". So, whoops, that was my mistake haha

@EmilyAnnCoons: After I made my post yesterday, I decided to read The Changing Stone for fun (for those who don't know, it's only 4 chapters, so not very long). It was actually really interesting! Although I can see why you had put it down for making Alexis Perkins, there were a couple of aspects in CS that I actually preferred to this comic.

Ummmm, I wasn't theory crafting. That was un-crafting.

Anywhooooooo ... I haven't read CS and haven't looked where to find it. So you made it all as clear as mud.

So Jeremy is Jennifer but Jeremy is a different Jeremy. Or not. So Jennifer can't be Jeremy since Jeremy isn't Jeremy. Or maybe he is. Huuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh???

Bottom line : Is Jennifer the same Jeremy who attacked Alexis, Jeremy's sister or sister to a different Jeremy? Does Jeremy have a sister? As Alexis was once classmate to Jeremy wouldn't she have heard of a sister of his, possibly even seen?
