So, here's something new I want to do. Since we've only been updating once a week, I want to do what some other comics are doing and start uploading fanart to the comic. That said, if you guys have fanart, please feel free to send it to me over on Twitter: SureenInk. Also... I'm not sure of Anne's SJ or anything, so Anne, please feel free to post that stuff in the comments below.

Once a week, my ass.

@Guest1111119: I assume you didn't see the comment a few pages back, then, where Ren explained that she was moving and that updates would be slow for a while? I've asked for things from the fans to help, but I know people are busy this time of year, so things have been slow. No need to be mean.

Or you could stop with the mixed messages. Try a little consistency.

Mean? Chill with the being overly sensitive. More like puckish, wily, waggish or whimsical, perhaps. But not mean.

So, you need help with art work? Hmmmm, I'm positing how it would go to use a computer at the library to select from prior artwork, copy, recompose, recolor where needed and paste to make "new" frames. GIMP and Photoshop wouldn't be available. But I believe they have MS Paint. Are the newer versions capable of working with layers?

@Guest: I don't know what you mean by "mixed messages" considering it was stated that updates would be spotty until around October at the earliest... and it's September so...

You : "Since we've only been updating once a week"

But is that what's important?

S.E. (Guest), September 29th, 2018, 4:27 am

Excuse me, but....

@Guest1111119: What's important is letting the authors live their life.
They have explained why they can't update new pages right now, so there's no need to complain about the lack of updates.

Ummm, no. I didn't say all that and I'm not complaining.

I was entertaining the notion of helping out. Did you see what I mentioned on that? Isn't that of import?

EmilyAnnCoons, October 2nd, 2018, 6:10 pm

@Guest1111119: "Once a week, my ass" isn't complaining? Could've fooled me -shrugs- Yeah, there's all kinds of programs out there that could help with artwork and such, but I've not used them well enough to try to sit down and make the comic with them. Ren is moving, so we've been on hiatus, once she finishes moving, we'll be back. I was offering for people to come do guest comics and pages and the like, but as no one has accepted the offer, we're just waiting for Ren to get back. I wasn't wanting someone to replace her.

Silly goose, I already told you about that. You were being teased for inconsistency. But it was never important to anybody. It was only ever an excuse to razz you.

I wouldn't dream of replacing Ren. I was only CONTEMPLATING the feasibility of helping out. At this time I don't know how well that would work out. I was thinking the way to start would be to do a only a frame or two at first as a trial. You would give a description of what you want in the frame and a character count for conversations so I know what size to make the conversation bubbles. Then I would try to make it happen. If it works out, any frames I helped with would be credited to Ren. I don't care about that. Besides, I would really be using her work anyways. Cut into pieces, rearranged, recolored where needed, recomposed and pieced back together. But any possibilities are only tentative at best.

Here's the thing. My PC is in storage. (Runs Mint and has GIMP. Photoshop is a possibility as well, depending. Right offhand I don't remember how well my VMware was running when last I left it.) Where I'm staying will do for awhile. But I don't trust it enough to bring my computer there. So, access is not so very easy and all. Hence, if I can be of any help at all, it would be via public library computer and I'd be using MS Paint. I don't yet know how all that would work out.

Earlier, I didn't have any time at all for any visits to the public library. Now, it seems I might be able to fit that into my schedule a few times per week. But not sure yet. All of this is only tentative so far.

@Guest1111119: See, if you had said it like that the first time, that'd have seemed genuine and much more useful... Well, I guess the biggest issue is, obviously, the reliability. Still, as this is a thing that involves helping Ren with art... I'd rather that she dealt with this.

Oh, hell.

Doesn't that mean I can't be Guest1111119 anymore, I have to actually sign up and login from now on? ...

Damn it. 8n/
