style

Hi there readers.
Lately I have been wondering how to do the coloring style. I am curious for your opinion.
Do you have a preference?

untill now I am doubting between the soft shades I used the past few pages, the hard shadings I used the pages before those or the flat and simple style that this page has. Please tell me your opinion it would really help me to make a choice.

Thanks in advance!

Oh shit!

I just realized we missed our 1 year anniversary. The first page went up on January 13, 2015! It's been just a little over a year now since we've been doing this comic. Wish I had realized, I would have scripted out a 1 year anniversary comic!

On a side note, this comic is supposed to help show the link between Changing Stone and this comic by showing the characters from CS. They'll be back again in the background (as they have been before), and may even get some minor scenes here and there. However, they won't be major characters at all. They have their own comic, after all.

Speaking of that comic! Changing Stone is still in need of an artist to get the reboot it needs! If you're able to draw and are interested, let me know!

Colouring style preference

With your colouring style, I'd say stick with the soft lowlighting you had in 4-19 for flesh, cloth, shadows, curved surfaces etc, but do most of your furniture, background, planar surfaces etc shading fairly hard.

I would agree with Samantha, the depth that the shading adds in 4-19 is great!
