And here we have the big reveal of Allea's orientation. Making a character Quoiromantic was a thing I wanted to do, since that's my orientation. I've never seen a character who is Quoiromantic or Quoisexual, even in queer comics, so I wanted there to be a character that was Quoiromantic in mine, and Allea kind of wrote herself that way.

The original script had her being referred to as "pansexual", and I'll agree that Allea is still interested in all genders as I had originally designed her, but I felt her coming out as Quoiromantic first would be better. I felt the romantic feelings Allea gained for Alexis seemed a tad too quick, but it would make sense if she was Quoiromantic.

That said, if you've not before heard of "Quoiromantic", I'll explain it (but it'll also be explained in the comic later). Basically, being Quoiromantic means that a person cannot discern between platonic (the feelings of friendship and family) and romantic feelings. This basically translates into becoming romantically interested in platonic friends.

Well, Cynthia has been kinda a jerk so far. This is just the result of that. I only have sympathy for Allea

While I understand that Allea feels her trust has been severely breached, she may be overreacting, as I am fairly certain that no one at that table has any idea what Quoiromantic means and will remember that term long enough to google it. Personally, I prefer the synonymous term "WTFromantic".
