Bullies will hate for any reason, it doesn't matter what. Still, why does it feel like people seem to hate it even more when you try to be who you are instead of conforming the the normalicies of the world? Are people scared? Are people afraid that you'll ruin "normal" and it will be such an Earth-shattering thing that it will cause all of time and space to collapse?!

This is continuing to look great! Have you considered mirroring this on Tumblr? Webcomics with transgender characters are extremely well received there.

@potatoe1988: I have, actually. I've been posting them on tumblr a lot, just not been getting many reblogs for them. You can check out my tumblr here: http://sureenink.tumblr.com/

I haven't been posting the pages, but I've been posting a preview image to try and get people to check the comic here.

@EmilyAnnCoons: Yes, that's actually how I found it! I was wondering more about giving it its own dedicated blog and posting full pages there. It's probably the most popular place to host webcomics with transgender characters and has a much larger receptive audience for that sort of thing than SJ.

Of course, there are other reasons you might prefer SJ as a host, this is just basically what I've observed in terms of where it's easiest to get readers.

@potatoe1988: Well, part of why I've been hosting it here is because I can put up ads, which I can't do on tumblr... unfortunately, the ads seem to be broken and I can't figure out why they won't work... I've taken them down for now, but I'm still trying to figure out how to make them work.

Still, I'm hoping the Patreon thing will work out, too. If I can get money through that, it'll make this comic easier to work on and thus make it better... I just need people to actually donate through Patreon...

@EmilyAnnCoons: What kind of ads? There are definitely some people on Tumblr making use of Project Wonderful ads, but I don't know about other kinds.

@potatoe1988: The ones I'm using right now are Google Adsense ads.

@EmilyAnnCoons: Have you looked into Tapastic at all? They have a few built in methods of generating revenue and I've seen webcomics with transgender characters do quite well there as well.

@potatoe1988: Not really. A lot of comics I've seen on Taptastic have been moving off of it lately, so I assumed it was either a bad site or was shutting down or something

@EmilyAnnCoons: Are you sure you're not thinking of inkblazers? That one is shutting down. From what I've seen of Tapastic, it's been rapidly becoming more popular recently.

@potatoe1988: ahh it's possible I'm thinking of that one. I can check out Taptastic later. I'm not currently in a position to check it right now ^^"
